Standup comedian Munawwar Farooqui is in the news these days. For the past few days, news related to him is continuously coming out. A few days ago, one of his shows in Delhi was not allowed. The reason behind this was cited as bad. Meanwhile, the comedian has kept his word on the continuously cancelled show. He told that he is very upset by such things.

He further told that many times the thoughts of suicide have also come to his mind after the shows were cancelled and he was not allowed to work. Let us tell you that Munawwar has a huge fan following in the field of stand-up comedy. During a show in the year 2021, he was accused of making fun of God. There was a lot of uproar over it. After this, a case was also registered against him and an arrest was also made. After getting out of jail, he wanted to do shows many times but his shows kept getting cancelled after which he even said that he is planning to leave this field.

During the interview, he told that it has been a long time for these things but the controversy is not taking the name of leaving him behind. Expressing his pain, the comedian said that many times he thought of suicide but he left it mistaking it. During the conversation, Munawwar stated that he had developed a habit of doing these things.

Now he wakes up every morning to see if there is a new dispute on any of his issues. Significantly, apart from stand-up comedy, Munavvar has also appeared in Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Upp. Showing him the best game in this show, he won the trophy of the show.
