Television actress-turned content creator Chhavi Mittal has been hitting headlines since the time she began sharing her journey of recovery from breast cancer with her followers. Her social media handle has plenty of stories which shed light on her battle with the big C. Chhavi’s path to normal state is being applauded by millions of her fans. Through her influencing tales, the Tumhari Disha actress is raising awareness in a big way. But some insensitive people keep trolling her for the same.

Recently, Chhavi had shared some of her bikini photos from Dubai vacation on her official Instagram handle. Soon after this, some people started talking rubbish about her bold pictures neglecting what she is trying to say through these clicks. Taking a screenshot of one rude comment which read, “Breast cancer mein breast katne nahi padte?”, the actress slammed all trolls.

Chhavi began her long note by asserting that such insensitivity still happens. She said that her breasts are being discussed like a commodity in the comments section of her posts.

Chhavi further responded to users who think ‘celebs are used to such comments’. “Celebs are humans too. They have emotions like normal human beings. They get cancer like normal humans. They survive or succumb like normal humans. So no. NOBODY is “used to” such insensitive remarks about the biggest fight for survival that one fights which has physical as well as emotional repercussions lasting a lifetime,” stated the 42-year-old.

In the last part of her message, Chhavi elaborated on the types of surgeries that take place while surviving cancer besides thanking the people who stood for her against hate comments.
