12th Fail fame Vikrant Massey who earned immense popularity through his hard work was stuck into controversy after sharing pictures touching the feet of his wife. He recently shared a picture of himself touching the feet of his wife Sheetal Thakur on the occasion of Karva Chauth which is a festival of married couples in which one partner fasts for their partner’s long life. While users criticized Vikrant Massey for touching Sheetal’s feet, fans praised the actor’s style.

After all these controversies, Vikrant openly spoke about being from a secular family in an interview with one of the leading media houses and said that every religion is respected in his family and does not discriminate against anyone. Vikrant Massey also said that his brother is a Muslim but do Lakshmi pooja on Diwali every year.

12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey who will be next seen in the upcoming film ‘The Sabarmati Report’, recently told in Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast that his mother is a Sikh but wears a bindi. His father is a Christian. His elder brother Moin converted to Islam at the age of 17. But despite being from different religions, they all have full faith in every religion.

Vikrant Massey, while talking about being trolled for the Karva Chauth picture, said, ‘My mother, who was a Sikh, used to wear a bindi and stood with us during Karva Chauth. Since childhood, we have been visiting temples, and Mata Rani pandals used to be set up outside our house, which we have always been a part of. All religions are respected in our family and it is absolutely normal.’ Vikrant Massey also told that despite his father being a Christian, he has visited Vaishno Mata temple six times and goes to church twice a week. He further said, ‘This is India. This is a part of our Hindustan, yet it surprises people. I have a temple in my house and my son’s name is Vardaan. This unity is the fabric of our nation.’
