Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is an evergreen beauty of the film industry. Her stellar performances on screen and strong acting skills have won her a permanent place in the industry. Raveena who began her career with the film ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ opposite Ajay Devgan was one of the top actresses in the 90s. She worked in many hit films like ‘Mohra’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and ‘Laadla’.

While Raveena’s career was touching the soaring heights, she distanced herself from acting for 2 years. After this break, when she wanted to return to the industry, she got offer for Karan Johar’s blockbuster film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Raveena rejected the film and in a recent interview, she talked about regretting her decision.

Raveena was offered Tina’s role in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’

Raveena revealed in a recent interaction that she was offered the role of Tina in the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. After she turned it down, it went to Rani Mukherji. Raveena told that her career was zero when this role came to her. In such a situation, she did not want to spoil it further by playing the second lead role. Raveena stated, ‘When Karan came to me, my career was at zero. It was very difficult for me to explain to Karan about the situation I was in. I found it beneficial to play Kajol as I did not want to play the second lead in a film.”

Raveena expressed that she still regrets rejecting the role. She further quoted, “I really regret it till date and we are still trying to work together. Raveena said that if she had agreed to do second lead then it would have rained on her to do second lead roles only.”

Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon appeared last in a prominent role in ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’. She will come up next with Binoy Gandhi’s romantic comedy titled ‘Ghudchadi’ alongside Sanjay Dutt.
