After being in power for the last 15 years, Bangladesh’s longest-serving Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country for India last week. Young protesters have been vandalizing and creating chaos in Bangladesh since then. People there say that they are absolutely fed up. Amid the unrest in the country, actress Hina Khan has tweeted about the violence against ‘Hindus and other minorities of Bangladesh’.

She said on Sunday, ‘Every innocent death is the death of humanity, no matter what country, caste or religion. No community should go through such a horrific act, what is wrong is wrong. The protection of minorities of any country is a symbol of the nature of their collective community.’ Let us tell you that actress Hina Khan is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She said, ‘My heart aches for every human being suffering around the world. Because for me humanity comes first. I pray that Hindus and other minorities of Bangladesh remain safe in their country.’

Before Hina, Kangana Ranaut had spoken on the recent turmoil in Bangladesh and the violence against Hindus. She claimed that the Bangladesh incident is a characteristic of all Islamic states where there are always attempts to ‘exterminate’ other religions. Kangana had said this a day after Sheikh Hasina resigned as Bangladesh’s Prime Minister and fled to India when reporters asked her to comment on the situation in the neighboring country.

Kangana had also recently tweeted, ‘No one is safe in Muslim countries, not even Muslims themselves. Whatever is happening in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the UK is unfortunate. We are lucky that we are living in Ram Rajya. India is the motherland of all Islamic republics around us. We are happy that the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh feels safe in India, but all those who live in India and keep asking why Hindu Rashtra? Why Ram Rajya? Well, it is clear why!!!’
