The fourth wave of Covid-19 is spreading widely around the world with a sudden increase in omicron cases of the “a new and highly transmissible” BF.7 strain in Japan, the United States (USA), the Republic of Korea, Brazil, and China. Meanwhile, India is gearing up to deal with any emergency that may arise amid rising cases of coronavirus across the world. So far, India has identified four cases of the BF.7 variant. Two were reported from Gujarat. Two other cases were detected from Odisha.
When India was dealing with two devastating waves of the coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood was at the forefront of relief efforts. From helping migrants return to their homes amid the lockdown to arranging oxygen facilities as well as hospital beds for patients, his teams worked in different parts of the country and state to reach out to people immediately for help.
Recently, the actor responded to a reporter’s question at the Indore airport on Friday about the rising cases of Covid in the country. Sonu Soon said that his old number is still active. People can reach him and his team for any kind of help.
“Number ab bhi wahi hai, jarurat padegi to phone jarur kijiyega (my number is still the same. Please call when needed,” said Sonu Sood. He added that he has instructed his team already regarding the Covid emergency.
On the other hand, Sonu along with his wife Sonali Sood visited the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. They offered prayers. It is reported that a large number of people gathered at the shrine to see the actor.
