Mehak said, “I had searched for online courier service to send a courier in Gurugram. After this, I got a call from a person who said that he is talking from a big courier company. I went to the site as told by that person and registered for Rs 10. Had to pay for the courier from the site itself.”

After this, Mehak told that when the person asked her about the transaction, she told Google Pay, but the payment did not happen. After this a link was sent to her and it was told that OTP will come on it in 20 seconds and payment will be done. But as soon as the link came, Rs 49000 was withdrawn from her account. As soon as Mehak realized the fraud, she froze all her cards and accounts.
