Naga Chaitanya To Retire From Cinema? South Star Reveals He’s Not Satisfied With His Success
Actor Naga Chaitanya, who has been on a quest for a breakthrough performance in his career, recently shared his ongoing search for that one masterpiece role that would solidify his place in the film industry. Speaking to Galatta, Chaitanya reflected on his journey so far and expressed his hunger for greater achievements, despite the success his past projects have garnered.
The actor admitted that while he has experienced some success, it has not been enough to satisfy his aspirations. “I’m still not one hundred per cent satisfied. I think there’s so much more to do. I’m still waiting for that one release, which sort of gives me that satisfaction,” he shared. Chaitanya made it clear that this dissatisfaction fuels his drive to keep pushing forward. “That doesn’t mean I will stop. I want to still stay hungry; I want to keep growing,” he added.
Throughout his career, Chaitanya has worked diligently to improve and evolve as an actor. He noted that his journey has been a progressive one, with significant learning in recent years. “It’s been progressive in a way; there’s been a lot of learning that’s happened. In fact, the recent times have been way lot more learning,” Chaitanya stated, emphasizing how personal and professional growth continues to shape his approach to his craft.
For Chaitanya, the ultimate goal is perfection—though he acknowledges it remains elusive. He elaborated on his idea of achieving perfection in movies, stating that his dream is to star in a film where he feels no regret after the release. “I just want to be a part of one movie for which, after release, I do not have any more regrets over a particular scene that I think I could have done better,” he explained.
Chaitanya’s upcoming project, Thandel, is generating considerable buzz and will hit theatres on February 7, 2025. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead. With its intriguing storyline and talented cast, Thandel has already captured the attention of fans and critics alike, making it a highly anticipated release in Chaitanya’s career.
