Rockstar (2011) fame Nargis Fakhri has come into the spotlight because of her recent interview with Siddhartha Kanan on YouTube. She has spoken about her struggles while dealing with dating rumors as well as the stress that came with Rockstar. She also seems to have found a new love interest in an entrepreneur!

Dealing with dating rumors, fame and everything in between

Nargis came into focus with her debut Rockstar, directed by Imtiaz Ali. In her recent interview with Siddhartha Kanan, she revisited the earlier days of her career as an actress, the endless tie-ups with B-town stars, and the fame that befallen her.

On tackling the constant array of dating rumors with Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and many more, she went candid and shared her frustration over it.

‘It used to drive me insane. One time there was an article that said I moved into Shahid Kapoor’s apartment. I wish I had saved these articles…and that my mom came down to visit and meet him. And I had people messaging, Oh, your mom is in town. What the hell, my mom never even came here. So, I had to get used to all of that.’

When it came to becoming an instant hit, she said that she never had the idea of the movie, how big it was and what working with Ranbir Kapoor meant. With the fame came nerve-racking stress that she found truly difficult to handle.

‘The fame was very weird. I was so stressed I didn’t know my shoulders were touching my ears. My body was so stressed out but I was trying to go through life. It was such a big movie.’

She adds further. ‘I didn’t know anything. I was very naive.’

Nargis was Ranbir Kapoor’s co-star in Rockstar where she did a song, Dhating Nach, in Phata Poster Nikla Hero with Shahid Kapoor.

Nargis Fakhri’s new love interest

As an actress, Nargis Fakhri has had her string of dating rumors.

From the Bollywood actor Uday Chopra to Ranbir Kapoor to Shahid Kapoor to the American director Matt Alonzo, Nargis is also said to have dated the chef Justin Santos. The 42-year-old actor, however, has been honest about her break up with the chef in October last year.

She is currently in Los Angeles, US, probably dating the 37-year-old entrepreneur, Tony Beig. Tony is from Kashmir and is the MD of the conglomerate. They met in 2021.

According to a source, ‘They met socially and instantly hit it off. They love spending time in each other’s company, and you will often find them going out together. Nargis wants to keep it very low profile as it’s still very new. But there seems to be love blossoming.’

Nargis is planning to return to India very soon. The source further adds, ‘She only wishes to talk about her work’.
