Nayanthara is one of the highest-paid female actors in the Tamil film industry. Because she has done so well in films, her friends call her “Lady Thalaivi.” A few months ago, the actress talked to Hello magazine about working with Shah Rukh Khan on Jawan.

Shah Rukh Khan gets a lot of praise from Nayanthara

Atlee is a close friend of Nayanthara’s, and she was excited about the project because her part would be very action-packed. When asked about working with Shah Rukh in the action movie, she said,  “Who is not his fan? We have all grown up watching his films and we all love them. Apart from being the huge star that he is, I really admire the fact that he respects women a lot… I was pretty sure that Jawan would create a huge impact. After working so many years in the industry you know when a film is going to work and vice versa.”

He made videos that we all loved as kids and still do. He’s a huge star, but I admire how much he respects women instead. I was sure Jawan would make a big difference. After working in the business for so long, you know when a movie will do well and when it won’t.

 

Nayanthara played Force One head in Tolee’s Jawan.

Narmada Rai, the head of Force One, the Mumbai police’s counter-terrorism team, was played by Nayanthara in the vigilante action saga. Shah Rukh created two different roles in Jawan: the son and the father.

There was also a long appearance by Deepika Padukone in the movie. The bad guy was played by Vijay Sethupathi, and Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Girija Oak, and Omkar Das Manikpuri all play important parts. There was also a cameo by Sanjay Dutt in the movie.
