Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has come a long way in his journey as an actor. He bagan with chocolate-boy roles and now is seen portraying mostly intense characters on screen. While it might seem easy to some, for Shahid it has been one heck of a journey. In a recent chat, the actor recalled days when he appeared as a background dancer in Karisma Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai’s songs before making film debut in 2003 with ‘Ishq Vishk’. Shahid worked as a background dancer in Karisma Kapoor’s Le Gayi and Aishwarya Rai’s Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaaye.
While talking about spoiling Karisma’s song ‘Le Gayi’ from ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’, Shahid revealed that he has no favourite memories from it. He shared that he had just joined Shiamak’s troupe, so was probably one of the rookies there. He was really nervousal. His hair were bouncing around too much and he was spoiling the shot. Shahid said he was a nervous wreck, just hoping not to mess things up.
After ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’, Shahid was seen in ‘Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaaye’ from ‘Taal’. Reminiscing the same, the actor disclosed that no one knows he met with an accident on the day of shooting with Aishwarya. He fell down from his motorcycle and reached the set very flustered. Shahid called the day as the worst and the best day of his life at that time.
Workwise, Shahid Kapoor appeared last in Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Farzi’ marking his OTT debut. He is now gearing up for his upcoming release, ‘Bloody Daddy’. The film which is a remake of the 2011 French film ‘Sleepless Night’ is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It also stars Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, Rajeev Khandelwal and Diana Penty. The film will release on JioCinema on June 9.
