Soon after, a Reddit user reshared the portrait on social media along with another recent social media post of Alia with her BFF Akansha Ranjan. In the click which is from the actress’ reception, both the divas are wearing shimmery gowns as they are sitting on a couch and chatting with each other. The user then claimed that Alia is trying to rewrite the narrative by putting pictures of herself consuming alcohol at her wedding and hinting that she did not know about her pregnancy at that time. The user wrote, “Notice a pattern about Alia’s recent throwback pictures from her wedding. Trying to rewrite the narrative?”

As soon as the post reached online, netizens started criticising the actress for trying to imply that she was not pregnant at her wedding. One user penned, “I don’t know if she does it intentionally. But I’ve noticed multiple other pictures she has used to wish people in the past year. They all imply she was drinking at her wedding.” Another stated, “Guys I was totally not pregnant okay…okay?” A third one said, “How can she rewrite the narrative anyways? She settled down in April and had a baby in November. Obviously she was pregnant at her wedding.”
