TV actor Sumbul Touqeer who gained prominence with her popular daily soap ‘Imlie’ has become even more famous after doing the last season of Bigg Boss. The actress has been raised by a single parent. Her deep bond with her father Touqeer Hasan Khan came to the fore when Sumbul was inside the glass-walled house last year. Her father landed a huge support to Sumbul. During her latest interaction, the actress talked about how even taboo topics like periods did not make anything uncomfortable between her and father.
Sumbul said that her father has been a rock-solid support in life since she was six-years-old. She stated that she hasn’t got her mom’s love since childhood as she always stayed with her father. Till now in her life, Sumbul doesn’t feel like getting anyone else’s support or guidance.
Furthermore, Sumbul shared that when she got her first periods, her father was there with her. He guided her throughout the difficult time. Sumbul said that she never felt uncomfortable about it even till now and neither her dad has ever felt any discomfort. She doesn’t know how different it would have been having a lady around in the house as she has never experienced it.
Recently, Sumbul shared a new video on her YouTube channel. In the clip, she took her fans on a tour to her new home in Mumbai. She has named it ‘Khan Manzil’ after their family home in Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
For the unversed, Sumbul Touqeer and her sister Saniya Touqeer were raised by their father after his wife left the family, when their children were young. He handled all the household chores besides running a dance school.
