Bollywood diva Kriti Sanon is on cloud nine these days. The reason is her lifting the best actress trophy in every award show that is happening this year. Her film Mimi is winning her accolades. Recently, Kriti won the prestigious Filmfare award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Her inspiring winning oration is going viral on the internet.
While receiving the black lady, Sanon began by thanking her family and the makers of the film for showing trust in her. She then went on to influence all the aspiring actors having no background in films with her words. She said that it might take some time and hard work to achieve big dreams but one should not fear having them.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kriti shared the same video and wrote that her speech was heartfelt and not scripted. “She believed she could, So she did..AND SO CAN YOU! ❤️ Unedited, unscripted and straight from ❤️ Don’t let anyone tell you your dream is too big,” she penned.
“To any boy and any girl who’s been told ki yeh bohot bada sapna hai, itne bade sapne mat dekho, pure nahi hote.. ya contacts ke bina na yaha pe kuch nahi hota hai, it doesn’t matter where you come from, it doesn’t matter who your parents are, what your surname is. It might take you a little longer, it’s taken me 8 years, it might take you a little longer, the journey might be a little tougher but just believe in yourself, keep working, keep getting better at what you do, keep learning and I promise you that you will get there, and when you do, it will be worth it because it will be your journey. So never let anyone tell you your dream is too big… so here’s to big dreams,” Kriti stated while accepting her award.
The actress also addressed Ranveer Singh in the audience. She quoted, “Ranveer Singh do you remember what you told me, ‘Jab tu Best Actress, main Best Actor hounga na tab saath mein kaam karenge.”
On the work front, Kriti Sanon is packed with her shooting schedules. Her upcoming films include Shehzada along with Kartik Aaryan, Adipurush with Prabhas, Bhediya with Varun Dhawan and Ganapath with Tiger Shroff.
