The couple popularly known as DeepVeer tied the knot in a cosy wedding at Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy. Their wedding, as well as the leading ceremonies, were kept private and the only people invited were family and close friends of the couple. The couple got married in two different ceremonies, a Konkani wedding and then a Sindhi one. This made sure that all the rituals and beliefs from both the sides were accomplished in full faith. While the two were busy getting hitched, the fans in India and abroad were going crazy to catch a glimpse of the two. Low-quality photographs of Mehendi ceremonies or guests entering the venue stormed the internet and the fans feated on them, still waiting patiently for the dessert that was DeepVeer’s official wedding photo.
And as soon as their pictures hit the internet, they were everywhere! Fans and even Bollywood celebs could not stop gushing and obsessing over how the two looked so in love and happy together. Their traditional outfits from both Sindhi and Kankani weddings, which were designed by Sabhyasachi passed the fashion test with flying colours. Their outfits were like that of King and Queen and they didn’t look out of place at all!
Soon after the wedding, the couple was spotted on the Mumbai airport on 18th November’18 in traditional clothes. Both looked extremely happy and Ranveer took it upon himself to keep Deepika safe by swooping her in his arms and forming a human shield from the massive crowd ready to greet them at the airport.
Today, the couple was once again seen at the Mumbai airport jetting off to Bengaluru, where they will be hosting their first wedding reception. This reception will be more of a family affair. The couple were all smiles at the airport and looked absolutely stunning in white. Deepika looked absolutely stunning in the off-white number while Ranveer looked dapper as ever!
The newlyweds reached the airport around 8:45 AM. After the wedding reception in Bengaluru, they will be returning to Mumbai where the second reception will take place on November 28 and then the third one on December 1.
