Popular singer-actor, Nick Jonas has become fond of Indian culture after marrying Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra. His pictures of performing ‘Pooja’ with full devotion also went viral a few months ago. Recently, the singer has praised the Hindi film industry and also addressed the possible debut in movies here. He has talked about his friendships with Bollywood actors and actresses.
Nick in a recent interview has revealed that for him Bollywood films are‘ very inspiring’. He further added that he is open to doing Hindi films if the right offer comes his way. The actor-singer also appreciated Hindi songs and revealed that he and Priyanka play them at their house parties.
Nick in a conversation with Khaleej Times said, “I love Bollywood films – I’ve gotten more familiar in the last couple of years after being with my wife; it’s certainly something that I would be interested in doing. I’ve gotten a lot of friends now in that industry and I think it’s just a phenomenal film industry, the work they do is very inspiring and if the right thing came up, who knows? Maybe I’d jump in!”
On being asked about the music in Bollywood films, Nick replied, “I think it’s amazing. I listened to quite a lot of it while I was in India and also at our wedding, we had a lot of great Indian music and Bollywood music. It’s the best kind of music to dance to and it’s definitely what we play at our house parties!”
For the unversed, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra got married in December 2018 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The singer went down on his knees for Priyanka during a romantic getaway in Greece, a day after her 36 birthday. Priyanka and Nick did both Hindu and Christian weddings.
Recently, Priyanka dropped the Chopra-Jonas surname from her social media accounts, changing her name to simply ‘Priyanka’. This sparked rumors of a possible separation of Nick and Priyanka. However, later she and Nick denied the same with their Thanksgiving posts as well as a joint appearance at the British Fashion Awards in London earlier this week.
