Popular TV actress Nisha Rawal has mesmerised the audiences with her television shows like ‘Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki’ and ‘Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet’. Her journey in the captivity-based reality show ‘Lock Upp’ was also unmissable. However, in the past few years, the actress has faced a lot personally after her ugly fallout from actor husband Karan Mehra. In her recent post, Nisha opened up on her mental health struggles and revealed about the traumatic experiences of having suicidal thoughts alongside bipolar disorder. She also shared how she did not lose hope in tough times and coped with them bravely.
Nisha talks about her mental health issues
On World Suicidal Day, the actress took to her official Instagram handle and dropped a video wherein she can be seen having a fun with a few bunnies around her. She is decked-up in a black t-shirt and denim pants. Atop the video, Nisha mentioned that she too felt suicidal besides asking her audience to read her caption.
In the long note, the 42-year old actress shared that she wanted to end her life in the past. She said that her childhood was disturbing as she comes from a broken family. She was raised by her mother single-handedly.
Over years, Nisha learnt to hide her problems due to the fear of getting shamed. She talked about media made fun of her bipolarity. The actress revealed how she was ‘ruthlessly pelted’ by trollers and was judged for her actions. At this time, even her friends left her alone.
Sharing how she regained strength, Nisha said that she immersed herself in work, heard podcasts and audiobooks, and began focussing on personal growth.

Nisha Rawal was married to Karan Mehra and the couple have a son named Kavish together. The duo created a stir on internet with their feud in May, 2021. Nisha complained of domestic violence against Karan. Since then, the two have left no chance to mud-sling each other publicly.
