In An Interview
Niyati, on her involvement in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, adds, “I had a little appearance as Avantika in the program. My part in the plot is crucial. The werewolf Tej, alias Arjun Bijlani, has won Avantika’s heart. In this scene, she will be through a vulnerable period.”
Niyati says, “When I was questioned about my experience shooting in chilly circumstances. At one point, when filming in Mussoorie’s outdoors, I had to sprint through a scene and came dangerously close to losing consciousness due to the low temperatures. The opportunity to film a genuine scenario in an authentic setting was a refreshing and educational change for me. Shooting in Mussoorie at a chilly 0 degrees, all I needed was a jacket and shawl to cover my lehenga. To remain warm, I continued chugging coffee. It was exciting to film in such a frigid environment, especially for someone from Mumbai.”
Niyati has worked on many programs, including Nazar, Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhage, and D4 – Get up and Dance. Against Karan Wahi, she became a household name with her portrayal in the film Channa Mereya. She also appeared in a brief role in Aashiqana as Gul Khan.
