They are objectifying women and shaming them and these beauty contests are not good.’

Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra further said, ‘But she had won Miss World. People were not ready to welcome her in Uttar Pradesh they were not at all ready to accept her victory. So they allowed her to come only in the Army area. Her welcome party was also allowed to be held in the Army Club, where only Army officers could be present, not the general public.’
