Grammy-winning British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is set to return to India for a two-week-long tour in January 2025, following his memorable performance earlier this year during the Indian leg of his – = ÷ x Tour. After captivating a jam-packed audience at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in South Mumbai in March, Sheeran will be visiting six cities across the country for his next tour, starting on January 30, 2025.
The highly anticipated tour will kick off in Pune on January 30, before heading to Hyderabad on February 2, Chennai on February 5, Bengaluru on February 8, and Shillong on February 12. The final stop will be in Delhi NCR on February 15, where Sheeran will perform at the Leisure Valley Ground in Gurugram—marking his debut performance in the capital.
In a previous interview, Sheeran reflected on his growing connection with Indian fans. “Every time I come back here, it feels more and more exciting,” he said. “Back in 2014, I had no idea that people liked my music here. It wasn’t until 2015 that I realized for the first time how much my music resonated with Indian audiences. Now, it’s clear that India is my biggest market.”
Earlier this year, Sheeran brought his + – = ÷ x Tour to Mumbai, where he performed to a packed crowd and even surprised fans by bringing out Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. The two performed Dosanjh’s hit song Lover, much to the delight of the audience.
Having launched the + – = ÷ x Tour in Dublin in 2022, Sheeran has since completed over 130 shows worldwide. The upcoming India and European legs will mark the final stretch of this global tour, which has been one of the most successful of his career.
Tickets for the India tour will go on sale through BookMyShow starting December 11. Fans are eagerly anticipating Sheeran’s return, as his shows are expected to be a celebration of his chart-topping hits and his special bond with the Indian audience.
