Actor Varun Dhawan has earned a name for himself through some blockbuster hits. He is gearing up for his next release ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ after a year-long hiatus. In a recent interview, Dhawan revealed that nobody in the Hindi film industry has an idea of trends and what works and what doesn’t at the box office.

In a conversation with a leading daily, Varun said, “Kiara is a keen follower. Nobody knows s***, Let’s just say it today on camera, nobody knows s***, nobody knows anything. Let’s be honest, I don’t think the trade knows anything. I don’t know that even the most successful producers know or directors, there’s nothing. Nobody knows anything.”

Kiara Advani, who was present there agreed with him and said that there is no formula for making a hit film. “What are these trends? There are no trends. Nobody knows what’s working, no one knows. There’s no formula to this,” she added.

For the unknown, Varun and Kiara are promoting their next titled ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ these days. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and YouTube sensation Prajakta Koli.

On the work front, Varun has many interesting projects in the pipeline after ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’. He will be playing a pivotal role in Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The drama film will release on April 7, 2023. Varun last appeared in his father David Dhawan’s Coolie No.1 (2020), a reboot of the 1995 film of the same name.

As for Kiara, the actress is right now basking in the glory of her recent hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film is winning big in terms of box office collections and critics’ reviews. The Kabir Singh actress also has several other movies coming up like Govinda Naam Mera with Vicky Kaushal and an untitled film with Ram Charan.
