In her latest post, Trishala has mentioned those manipulative parents who give more importance to ‘family image’ rather than the mental health of their kids. This post of hers has caught everyone’s attention and has forced people to speculate about her relationship with her parents.

Let us tell you that Trisha Dutt wrote at the beginning of her cryptic note that just because someone is your blood relative, it does not mean that they should get a place in your life. 37-year-old Trishala wrote, ‘Not every person who is related to you by blood deserves a place in your life. Sometimes, the most tiring, invalidating, and neglectful people we know are called ‘family’. You have every right and permission to save your peace.’

She further wrote, ‘You are also allowed to have less contact or no contact at all. You have the right to choose your mental health instead of maintaining the image of the family.’ Trishala further said that children are allowed to distance themselves from parents who mistreat them and put them on a guilt trip.

Describing this situation, she writes, ‘Because family doesn’t give you a free pass to mistreat, manipulate, or guilt-trip you. You don’t need to keep access to anyone who hurts you, even if they raised you. It’s a problem when parents care more about how the family looks to the world than how it feels to live in it.’ Let us tell you that Sanjay Dutt married Richa Sharma in the year 1987, and Trishala was born in 1988. Richa died of a brain tumor in 1996. After her mother’s death, Trishala lived with her maternal grandparents in the US.
