Comedian Samay Raina has removed all episodes of his show ‘India’s Got Latent’ after the heated controversy going on because of Apoorva Makhija and Ranveer Allahabadia’s controversial comments. Where everyone is talking about Samay now TV actor Aly Goni has now come out in support of Samay and called the pressure to remove the entire show wrong.

On X, Ali wrote, ‘They forced Samay to remove all episodes of Latent.. not good.. just 1 episode should have been removed.. he has worked hard to make this show a success.. where a few days ago everyone was praising him, now everyone is against him, LOL kya yaar.’ Let us tell you that Samay spoke on the controversy and revealed that he has removed all episodes of IGL and will cooperate with the authorities in whatever happens.

He wrote, ‘Whatever is happening is too much for me to handle. I have removed all the videos of India’s Got Latent from my channel. My only intention was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with the agencies to ensure that their investigation is completed impartially. Thank you.’ The controversy started when YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia made a controversial joke while judging ‘India’s Got Latent’, which sparked outrage.

A complaint was filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission against Ranveer, Samay, Apoorva Mukhija and the show’s organizers. The complaint accused him of using abusive language and making misogynistic comments about women. Amid growing criticism, Ranveer publicly apologized and said his comments were insensitive and also said that comedy is not his forte.
