Notable Actress Shefali Shah debuts as a director with Happy Birthday Mummy Ji: Lookout for the First Look.

The film Happy Birthday Mummy Ji marks Shefali Shah’s as a director. The film will be released on July 23. Happy Birthday Mummy Ji has been written and directed by Shefali Shah.

After winning hearts with her acting skills, Shefali Shah is all set to make her debut as a director with Happy Birthday Mummyji. The film is scheduled to premiere on July 23. Shefali Shah has shared the first look of the film on her Instagram handle. While she Sharing the poster, she wrote, “Please shower your blessings on my baby ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMYJI’ as I take a big leap of faith in a new ‘Direction’.”

The film, which has been written and directed by Shefali Shah and will be produced by Sunshine Pictures Pvt LTD and co-produced by Aashin A Shah.

Actress Shefali Shah has shared the poster, her fans and friends posted comments in praise of Shefali. “You will rock,” wrote a fan, while another mentioned “What a beautiful journey.” An overwhelmed Shefali, in response to the love showered on the actor’s post, wrote, “Thank you very much, everyone. Hope you will enjoy watching it as much as I loved making it.”

Apart from Happy Birthday Mummyji, Shefali has also directed and written Someday, a film that has made it to Female Eye Film Festival 2021.

On the work front, Shefali is shooting for Alia Bhatt’s maiden production venture Darling.

Darling is a quirky mother-daughter story, which is being co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The film starring Shefali Shah is set in Mumbai against the backdrop of a conservative lower-middle-class neighborhood. Directed by writer Jasmeet K Reen, the dark comedy traces the lives of two women as they find courage and love in exceptional circumstances.

Brief of Shefali Shah:
Shefali Shah is an Indian actress who works in Bollywood films. After making her film debut with a minor role in the 1995 drama Rangeela, she played a supporting role in the crime film Satya.



Her performance in Satya received critical praise and won her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress and a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 44th Filmfare Awards.

She was later nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the family drama Waqt: The Race Against Time in 2005 and for her performance in Dil Dhadakne Do in 2015.

In 2007 Shefali Shah received critical acclaim and won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Last Lear. She starred in the 2015 dramedy Dil Dhadakne Do, receiving several nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She along with the main cast won the Screen Award for Best Ensemble Cast for the film.
