Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar is not just a great director but a cool host too. His talk show Koffee With Karan often grabs headlines for its controversial content. And it is Johar who makes celebrities confess the darkest secrets of their lives. Something similar happened in the recent episode of the show.

In the twelfth episode of Karan’s show, star wives Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey appeared as guests. The conversation between the host and the trio was filled with some juicy gossip. But what made everyone emotionally was Gauri talking about what she and her family went through when her son Aryan Khan was arrested in an alleged drug case.

Karan Johar convinced Gauri to break her silence on Aryan’s arrest for the first time. Talking about the controversy, the My Name Is Khan director told Gauri, “It has been such a tough ride for him, and you all have emerged so strongly. I know you as a mother. We are members of the same family and I am a member of the same family. And, it hasn’t been easy, and Gauri, you have emerged stronger than ever.”

To this, Gauri revealed that it was indeed the worst time of their lives but she feels blessed to have come out of it through support from family and friends. “Nothing can be worse than what we have just been through. But where we all stand as a family, I can say that we are in a great space. We feel loved. All our friends, and so many people whom we didn’t know, so many messages and so much of love. We feel blessed. We are grateful to everyone who helped us.”

Let us tell you that Aryan was taken into custody by Narcotics Control Bureau for consuming and dealing drugs on a cruise party in October 2021. He spent almost 20 days in jail before getting bail. Aryan has got a clean chit in the case in May this year.
