Now Anil Ambani and former CBI director Aloke Verma also on the list of Pegasus targets.

A new revelation is made in Pegasus case. Other opposition parties, including the Congress, are opening a front against the central government from Parliament to the road for allegedly tapping the phone. Meanwhile, some more names have come to the fore in the espionage case report. It is being told that the phone of industrialist Anil Ambani has also been hacked. Apart from this, the phone of former CBI director Alok Verma is also feared to be tapped. There are other names on this list.

Anil Ambani

The report claimed that the phone numbers used by Anil Ambani and another official of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) were included in a November list that was analyzed by media partners of the Pegasus project group. However, the report does not confirm whether Anil Ambani is currently using that phone number. There is currently no information about this.

Media reports said that apart from Anil Ambani, other company executives whose phone numbers are on the list include corporate communications chief Tony Jesudasan along with his wife.

At the same time, the names of advisors of Tibetan cleric Dalai Lama and leaders of Nagalim National Socialist Council (NSCN) are included. Apart from this, the possibility of spying on many close relatives of Dubai Princess Sheikh Latifa has also been raised. According to a report published in the Guardian, the names of the heads of the governments in exile in India, Lobsang Sangay and Gyalwang Karmapa, the staff of another spiritual intellectual leader, have also been targeted by the NSO group.

Tempah Tsering is also among the advisors of the Dalai Lama. He has been in Delhi as the Dalai Lama’s envoy for a long time. Apart from these, the names of Tenzin Takhla, Chimay Riggen and Semdhong Rinpoche are also named. Another report also named NSCN leaders Isek Muwah, Atem Vashum, Apam Muwah, Anthony Shimre and Phunthing Shimrang. Naga National Political Groups (NNPG) convener N Kitowi Zhimomi is also named. The Modi government is in talks with Jhimomi to find a solution to the possible Naga issue in late 2017.

The phones of more than 300 celebrities, including journalists, human rights activists and political dissidents, have been allegedly hacked in India with Pegasus software from Israel company NSO. Phone numbers of former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, BJP ministers Ashwini Vaishnav and Prahlad Singh Patel, former election commissioner Ashok Lavasa and election strategist Prashant Kishor were listed for hacking through Israel spyware.

From a list of more than 50,000 cellphone numbers obtained by Paris-based organization ‘Forbidden Stories and human rights group’ Amnesty International and shared with 16 news organizations, journalists have identified more than 1,000 individuals in 50 countries who have been NSO’s customers reportedly opted for possible surveillance.
