Nushrratt Bharuccha Opens Up On Not Being Part Of ‘Dream Girl 2’: ‘I Am Hurt’

Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has carved her niche in the industry despite being an outsider. She has some incredible films to her name. However, the second part of the movie which is releasing soon does not feature Nushrratt. She has been replaced by actress Ananya Panday.

Nushrratt on getting replaced in ‘Dream Girl 2’

In ‘Dream Girl 2’, Ayushmann will be romancing Ananya, while also playing the role of a naughty tele-caller Pooja. Though the makers have not disclosed yet why they replaced Nushrratt with Ananya, the actress has finally opened up on the same.

In a recent interview, Nushrratt said that the decision of the makers has hurt her. She stated that she felt it a little unfair that the team of ‘Dream Girl’ did not sign her for the second instalment of the film. The actress said that only makers can answer why they didn’t cast her because there is no logic behind replacing her.

However, she added that she loves the original team of ‘Dream Girl’. She also revealed that she watched the trailer of the upcoming film and wished luck to the entire cast and crew.

Nushrratt’s work front

Nushrratt Bharuccha is coming up next with ‘Akelli’. It was supposed to release a week before ‘Dream Girl 2’. But the release of ‘Akelli’ was pushed further due to Censor Board issues. The movie will now set to clash with Ayushmann’s film on August 25. It is helmed by Pranay Meshram and also stars international artists like Amir Boutrous and Tsahi Halevi.
