In a recent appearance on Koffee with Karan, Sara Ali Khan discussed her relationship and subsequent break-up with Kartik Aaryan. Ananya Panday, who reportedly dated Kartik in the past, also joined the conversation. Kartik, known for his role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, clarified in a Film Companion interview that he has consistently avoided discussing his relationships in the public domain.
The actor expressed a preference for focusing on his work rather than delving into personal matters. When asked about being a recurring topic on Koffee with Karan, Kartik responded, “One thing I believe is that if a relationship is between two people, the other person should not talk about it. We should all respect our relationships.”
“I expect the same from my partner. It’s not good for someone to speak about the relationship. If things don’t work out… but when you are together, you don’t imagine it to be like that. You don’t imagine that it will end. You should respect that time, that moment. You should respect yourself also. When you talk about it, it’s not like the other person is only thinking about one person; they are thinking about both,” shared Kartik.
Kartik and Sara were in a relationship during the shoot of their film Love Aaj Kal, but they parted ways afterward. Despite the breakup, the two actors seem to maintain a cordial relationship and are often seen attending parties together. Kartik and Ananya also had a brief relationship, which was confirmed by Karan Johar on Koffee with Karan.
Kartik is currently involved in filming Kabir Khan’s project, Chandu Champion, and will soon commence work on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
