Karan Johar once declared that Ranbir Kapoor is the most patient person on the planet and could not stop praising the ‘Animal’ actor for his extraordinary professionalism.
Karan Johar once stated that Ranbir Kapoor no one manages him and heaped praises on the star
Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, who is credited with introducing star kids to Bollywood, once expressed his respect for actor Ranbir Kapoor. According to KJo, Ranbir does not have a public relations specialist or separate management teams to oversee or manage his career like other actors do. When the host of Mid-Day asked Karan to compare Ranbir to Ranveer Singh in an interview in September 2023, he went into great detail about Ranbir’s professionalism and praised the actor. He declared:
“He does one film at a time; he handles his own dates. There is no PR, there is no manager, there is nobody around him. He is on his own. You ask him for dates, he opens his phone, he has all his own dates, he knows exactly which plans he’s doing, he knows his schedule, he knows his days off, he knows his holidays.” Check out the video here.
Karan Johar revealed that Ranbir Kapoor is the most patient human being
Karan stated that Ranbir likes having the former around. According to the director, the actor likes to spend time with him so that he can comprehend his thought process and adapt his performance accordingly. Karan added that Ranbir can eat in peace and quiet by himself and that he eventually tends to separate from other people. Additionally, he said that the Barfi actor is the most patient person ever—he can wait for 14 hours straight without losing his cool. KJo continued, saying:
“Ranbir is that guy who will study so hard but come across to school and feel like ‘I don’t know what you guys are talking about, it is an easy breezy day’. He can’t pretend because he is too true to what he is. He is the most relaxed person, he’s the most patient human being, you can keep him waiting for 14 hours on a set, and he won’t say a thing.”
When Ranbir Kapoor shared his two cents on PR
A few years ago, Ranbir Kapoor offered his opinions on public relations in an interview with Times Now. The actor said that publicity can be detrimental to an actor attempting to establish their career. He asserted that PR needs to be handled carefully. Otherwise, over time, it develops an addiction. According to Ranbir:
“PR is the death of an actor. What happens is when you use PR the wrong way, you start believing it. People who plant articles about themselves or about other people, it becomes a very addictive game. And you start believing that my stardom is dependent only on how many times my face is featured on the cover of a magazine. I think PR is something you have to use intelligently, where your skills are concerned.”
