Sidharth Malhotra, a Bollywood actor, once made his ex-girlfriend, Alia Bhatt, cry by faking an accident to get her attention. Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were once deeply in love. The two connected and advanced each other’s careers when they worked together on the sets of Student of the Year, directed by Karan Johar. For a short while, they were together, and their love tale was well known. In addition, Sidharth gave birth to Alia’s first child, a pet cat she named Edward. But few people are aware that Sidharth once faked an accident and made Alia cry.

In a previous No Filter episode, Neha, the host, questioned Sidharth about his most embarrassing move to attract a girl. The actor opened up about a startling encounter with Alia. He said that after a set in the hilly region of Coonoor, they were returning. Taking a bike ride with a production member was his decision. Alia was following them in the car. He remembered how nervous Alia had been watching him ride the bike. It was reported that Sidharth stated:

“I thought abhi bohot ho gaya, gaadi main nahi jaana. I took a bike with my production EP. We were riding the bike in front and Shakun (Batra) and Alia (Bhatt) were in the car behind and they could see us. They were like, ‘Be careful. Why’re you riding this bike?’ Alia was all stressed out. Everyone was like why are you doing this? It’s a bike for god’s sake. We’re not going to space.”

Sidharth went on to say that he became irritated with it, so he pretended to have a fall, took a right turn, stopped the bike in the corner and lay down. He went on to say that when Alia saw him lying on the ground, she burst into tears. Upon witnessing Alia cry, Sidharth felt terrible and informed her right away that it was all in jest. Sidharth recalled the incident and said:

“Those guys turned and screeched the car to a halt and were like shit, f*ck they’ve fallen down. We see Shakun and Alia stressed and Alia started crying because we were lying down as if we were dead. By the time they came, I saw her crying and I started feeling bad and I said I was fine, it was a joke. At least pyaar toh mila, koi toh royega jab aap jaoge.”

Sidharth fell in love with Kiara Advani following his relationship with Alia. In 2018, the pair got together at a party. Since then, rumours concerning their relationship have circulated. They concealed their relationship, though. They took everyone by surprise in 2023 when they shared a photo from their wedding, thoughtfully captioning it as: “Ab humari permanent booking ho gayi hai.”

In contrast, Alia Bhatt fell in love with Ranbir Kapoor. During the 2018 filming of their movie Brahmastra, the couple fell in love. On April 14, 2022, in their Mumbai home, Ranbir and Alia exchanged vows following a protracted courtship. Raha Kapoor, their baby girl, was welcomed by the couple in the same year.
