Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most sought-after artistes in the industry. It goes without saying that he has outshone himself in every role he has took up in his career. Besides his films, Manoj is often discussed for his inter-faith marriage with actress Shabana Raza, better known by her screen name ‘Neha’. In a recent interview, the actor has spoken openly about his wedding. Along with this, Manoj has also given opinion on the religion of his wife.

Manoj Baipayee belongs to a Hindu Brahmin family, while his wife Shabana Raza belongs to the Muslim community. Talking about the same in a latest conversation with journalist Barkha Dutt, Manoj has said that his marriage with Shabana is much bigger than any religion. They share a lot with each other. He stated, “Our union is based on values. If one of us changes that tomorrow, it won’t last. Apart from these things that are untold and unnecessary, I belong to the Brahmin family, while Shabana comes with the values of her family. But none of my family members has any problem with this. I am a proud Hindu and she is a proud Muslim. There has never been any discussion between us on such issues and it will never happen.

Continuing further, Manoj has said that if anyone talks to him about the religion of his wife Shabana, he will not tolerate it at all. Manoj quoted, “They should know that I cannot remain silent on this subject and they will get to hear a lot. Although no one has the courage to say something like this on my face.”
