Palak Sidhwani of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Accused Makers of Exploitation, Deets Inside
Actress Palak Sidhwani, who is seen as Sonu Bhide in one of the most popular TV shows ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has issued an official statement accusing the producers of exploiting her. Her statement comes after she received a legal notice from the production, alleging that she had violated her initial contract.

In her statement to the media, Palak Sidhwani denied the allegations of the producers. It was also alleged that she was resigning in a very amicable manner but the producers did not like this. In its legal notice, Neela Films accused Palak of violating crucial clauses in her contract. The notice further stated that the actress continued with her actions despite multiple verbal and written warnings. This caused immense damage to the show and the character of Sonu Bhide.

However, Palak mentioned that she had signed the said contract five years ago and the makers were aware of her social media endorsements. The official statement read, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Palak Sindhwani, who plays the character of Sonu, has quit the show citing mental harassment and constant abuse by the makers. She has also denied the allegations of breach of contract.’

She further added that now that she has quit the show the makers are trying to create issues to harass her. Palak further added that she received a copy of her contract after years. The actress shared that she started doing brand endorsements during the Covid period but the problems came after she resigned. In an interview with one of the media houses, the 26-year-old actress said that she had informed the production about her decision to quit the show on August 8, but the makers did not pay heed to it and asked her to wait for her official email.
