Despite only having 630 screens throughout the nation, Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ performs remarkably well.

The much-awaited film, released on March 11, was shot on a shoestring budget with no prominent Bollywood stars in the cast. On the flight of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley, Vivek’s film has earned fantastic reviews from moviegoers and is doing well at the box office.

Making a severe picture like ‘The Kashmir Files’ was not a simple task for Vivek Agnihotri. In a recent interview, producer Pallavi Joshi said that she and her husband Vivek Agnihotri had to undergo a Fatwah on the last day of filming in Kashmir.

Pallavi says the shooting was the most straightforward and minor portion of filming ‘The Kashmir Files.’ The picture was made in four years, yet the filming took just a few weeks.

Pallavi and Vivek kept the Fatwah a secret from the team when filming the closing scene. Pallavi says they chose since they wouldn’t be able to return. The whole troop exited the firing area. This was the only issue the filmmakers experienced.

“Fortunately, we were on our last scene at the time. ‘Let’s complete this scene fast and go to the airport,’ I said Vivek. ‘Let’s not say anything and complete the shoot right now,’ I said to him as we were about to leave. We wouldn’t be able to return since we wouldn’t have another opportunity. So we wrapped that scene, and I dispatched a few people to the hotel with instructions to “start packing and putting everything in the suitcase and bring it to the sets, and we’ll depart from there.” “That was the only difficulty we had during filming,” Pallavi continued.

Interestingly, ‘The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri suspended his Twitter account due to “ugly threats.” In a recent interview, the director discussed the emotional strain he had to endure due to the continual threats.

Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Mithun Chakraborty also star in ‘The Kashmir Files.’ After a recent showing, numerous audience members embraced the movie of filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri. Darshan Kumar uploaded a video of people crying at the film’s horrible facts.
