Regarding that ‘dirt’ scene, Parineeti Chopra said in an interview to ‘Peeping Moon’, ‘We shot that entire sequence in a hut for 2-3 days. As an actor, I don’t know how people will react to it, but I didn’t take a bath for two days for that scene.’
Parineeti further said, ‘That location was also very dirty. There was garbage. When I used to go back home after finishing the shoot, my whole body was covered with mud. My hair used to turn white because of mud. I didn’t clean them.’ Going home, she would go to sleep with mud and dirt like this without taking a bath and then the next day she used to come on the sets like this.
Parineeti Chopra said that she is not a ‘method actor’ and doesn’t act before a scene, but she wanted her to look really dirty for that scene without bathing. She did not want her to be given such a look through makeup. Although at that time Parineeti felt that she was too much for that scene, but when the film was released, she realized that yes she was right.
