Parineeti stands out, Sonam disappoints: Best and Worst dressed at Filmfare Awards 2018
When it comes to the Filmfare Awards, all eyes are set at the red carpet as it is nothing less than a fashion fair. We are all hearty-eyed seeing the stylish avatars in which our Bollywood stars graced the red carpet. The year has just begun and we already have our fashion goals set right for the year, thanks to the stars who donned great ensembles. Like every year, we have our favorites out of the bundle.
But this time we begin with a big disappointment and appallingly, it is Sonam Kapoor. Sonam, who otherwise is known as the fashionista of Bollywood, made us wonder why did she ever step on the red carpet in what she actually did. She picked up a formal blazer with knee-length pants, a creation by Vera Wang Wang and we are disheartened.
Next up on the worst dressed list is actress Vidya Balan. We are totally admitting that we love seeing her in sarees. But we don’t know what happened this time. Perhaps, her saree choice for the Filmfare evening was all goofed up! She wore a black saree with a golden border or we say borders.
Alia looked pretty as a princess in her ruffled gown. We absolutely love the color on her and furthermore her hair-do. Makeup kept minimalistic, she looked mesmerizing as she walked the red carpet.
Parineeti Chopra picked up something glitzy for the evening and we loved it. Her blingy off-shoulder gown by Kujtameri made her stand out of the rest. Her hair was done neat and beautifully.
Priety Zinta was high on pink for the Filmfare event and looked completely stunning. Her off-shoulder pink gown made us think if she came out straight off from some fairy tale.
We are totally in love with Kajol for carrying such a pretty wine ensemble. Her off-shoulder wine color ensemble won our hearts as she walked the red carpet.
We give thumbs up to Manushi Chillar, Nidhhi Agerwal, Saiyami Kher, Surveen Chawla, Sunny Leone for donning their stylish best avatars at the red carpet.
Coming to the men, we adore Ranveer Singh for taking the quirk a step forward. He wore an all-over printed suit with movies from the 80s and the 90s era. Films like Ajooba, Deewar, Ram Lakhan, Baazigar, Ghayal were a part of his suit. We loved the way he pulled the look off!
Shahid Kapoor looked dapper AF in his all-white suit and we are sure he took away a millions of hearts by that smile!
Rajkumar Rao who won big at the Filmfare night looked handsome as ever in a grey suit paired with a classic white shirt.
