‘Party With Biggies…’, Adhyayan Suman Reveals How Casting Directors Made Him Feel Like Dog!

Bollywood actor Adhyayan Sumans, son of popular actor Shekhar Suman might have come from an influential family, but he had to face tough luck in the industry. Despite being a star kid, Adhyayan had to struggle a lot and even after making a successful debut, he could not leave a mark in films on a large scale. In a latest interview, the actor revealed how hard he head to work in order to get work.

Adhyayan was advised to party with biggies for work

Adhyayan Suman told how he got a lot of disdain in the industry. He revealed that casting directors advised him to party with big people in the industry to get work which he found really stupid. The actor stated, “People used to tell me, ‘Arre ja na party kar na industry ke logon saath, unse saath ghul-mil.’ But my question was, how will my partying work? Just partying doesn’t work. Also, you can’t just go and party with them if you don’t know them.”

“If you are nothing and you have not done anything big then they will not invite you saying, ‘Aaja party karte hain’. Either you have to be successful or you have to be a childhood friend of a star kid to be called at such gatherings,” added Adhyayan.

Adhyayan felt like a dog

Adhyayan told that he did whatever he could to get work, but he did not get anything. He quoted said, “I got a call from the casting director at 2 in the night and they said, ‘Abhi aaja uthkar’. They would pick me up at any time. They used to tell me, ‘Abhi aaja raat mein party karne liye’ and I used to go to such parties. I was desperate to get a job, but after some time I felt like a dog.”

He further told that he could not even say no to those casting directors, because if he did so, their ego would get hurt.

Casting happens on the basis of Insta followers

Adhyayan also disclosed that directors cast artists on the basis of Instagram followers. Those who have more followers get a chance. However, Adhyayan said that he finds dancing like buffoon and making reels on trending songs cringeworthy. He is uncomfortable doing such kind of stuff as he just wants to act.

Adhyayan career

Adhyayan Suman began his acting career with ‘Haal-e-dil’ in 2008. He went on to feature in films like ‘Raaz: The Mystery Continues’, ‘Jashnn’, ‘Himmatwala’, ‘Heartless’, etc. He was last seen in ‘Aashram’.
