Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh is facing strong backlash on social media after a video from a recent promotional event went viral. The video, shared widely on X (formerly Twitter), shows Pawan Singh allegedly touching his co-star, Anjali Raghav, inappropriately on stage.

​The incident occurred during the promotional event for their recently released song, Saiya Seva Kare. The video shows Anjali speaking to the audience while Pawan Singh stands beside her. He is seen repeatedly touching her waist, a gesture that appears to make her visibly uncomfortable. At one point, he asks her to move her hand away, and despite her hesitation, he continues to touch her waist. He only stops after a moment and says, “Okay.”

​Netizens React with Anger and Disgust

​The clip has sparked outrage online, with many users condemning Pawan Singh’s behavior. A user on X called the act “sickening,” adding, “He doesn’t even back down. Sicko!” Another user recalled the serious allegations made against him by actress Akshara Singh, writing, “Pawan Singh keeps crossing the line… He has a pattern.”

​One comment expressed disappointment, saying, “What a disgusting and vile person he is! He did not even feel ashamed in front of so much public while doing such a despicable act.” Another user remarked that such behavior “defames the entire Bhojpuri community” and negatively influences young people.

​A History of Controversy

​This is not the first time Pawan Singh has faced such accusations. A few years ago, he was booked for allegedly defaming Akshara Singh and posting “vulgar” pictures and videos of her online. According to a DNA report, the two had been friends, but after his marriage in 2018, Akshara decided to end the friendship. The report claims that Pawan then began to pressure her to continue the friendship and allegedly threatened to “not let her work in the industry” and even kill her.
