Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty is quite vocal about his thoughts in media interactions. But this is not the case with the actor when it comes to social media. In a recent conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia on his talk show, Suniel opened up on online trolling and how it affects the lives of those who come under the radar of trollers.
Suniel said that well-known names in the film industry are forced to be diplomatic on various issues so as to avoid getting bashed by netizens. He also shared that it hurts him a lot when someone abuses him and his family on the internet for no valid reason.
Suniel stated that in today’s time where social media is at its peak, there is no privacy left. It is destroying lives especially those of celebs. A single sentence of a star is edited in 15 different ways and is put in different ways online.
The 61-year-old actor revealed that people often abuse him and his family. They call his daughter Athiya Shetty a ‘b***h’ which hurts him a lot. Furthermore, Suniel told that being a Shetty boy, he would not like to keep mum on trolling.
Talking about Suniel’s career, the actor has been in the industry for over 30 years now. He has starred in around 100 films and is still appreciated for his performance in movies like Gopi Kishan, Mohra, Dhadkan, Hera Pheri, Border among others. Suniel also marked his digital debut last year with Dharavi Bank. In the web show, he portrayed the role of Thalaivan- a gangster.
On the work front, Suniel Shetty will next appear in the third installment of the comedy franchise Hera Pheri. He will reunite him with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal for the much-awaited project.
