Naamkarann fame actor, Puru Chibber is the son of a popular veteran actress, Vibha Chibber, is all set to get married to his photographer-girlfriend, Roshini Banthia.
The couple had a private roka ceremony earlier on December 31, 2018, and got engaged on Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2019. Puru and Roshni have known each other for almost 11 years. Finally, the pre-wedding ceremonies of Puri and Roshini began today. And the bride herself took her Instagram to share the glimpse of the ceremonies with her fans. She put the ints stories of mehendi ceremony where she was looking dead drop gorgeous. Captioning the pic as “Day 1”, Roshni looked a bindaas bride-to-be by wearing sunglasses. Take a look:
As the roka ceremony took place in December itself, as per a Pinkvilla’s report back then, “A roka ceremony has been planned for the family and close friends of the couple on December 31 in Mumbai. They would be making the relationship official. More details of the same cannot be revealed at the moment. All that can be told is that it will be a fun-filled sun downer celebration.”
When Puru was asked about the same by The Times of India, he confirmed the news of his roka and stated, “Yes, the roka ceremony is happening on December 31st. It is going to be a very private affair and we are planning to tie the knot by next year.”
After their roka, Puru and Roshni got engaged when he proposed to Roshni on a cruise. This time Puru himself shared the news on his Instagram handle. He had posted a lovely picture with Roshni, showing off the love rings. Along with it, he had written, “Shuru hui kahani achii waaliii”, followed by a heart emoji.
Puru Chibber, during an interview with The Times of India, had talked in lengths about Roshni. He had said, “Roshni is my best friend. She is a photographer and web designer. Though we are very close, we had never thought of marriage.”
Puru further went on to say, “However, last year, I felt that if I am sharing everything with her and feel so comfortable in her company, why shouldn’t she be my partner for life? Our wedding will be an intimate affair, as I feel that something as personal as this should not be shared with people you hardly meet. The date will be finalised soon and since Roshni’s family is not from the industry, I don’t want to reveal it.” Puru has planned a destination wedding in Mount Abu. He says, “We felt that it would be great to get married in such a beautiful place. Also, we will be able to enjoy our time together as a family.”
