We all wish to achieve that glass skin throughout our lifetime. But there’s one thing we all need to accept sooner or later. It is to accept that every skin type is beautiful no matter what. You can never achieve happiness if you keep looking for what happiness consists of. Happiness is when you feel home in your skin, in your body. What matters is you take care of yourself and create happiness in whatever you have. So with this positive thinking let’s get into our Ayurvedic skin care routine.
Before starting the first step remember it’s very important to drink water first thing in the morning. To ensure good cleansing of the digestive tract.
As Ayurveda suggests ‘True beauty comes from within’, therefore it’s important to cleanse from within first. The first stem includes intake of a juice comprising:
•Giloy Stem Juice- 4 spoons
•Wheat grass juice- 4 spoons
•Aloe vera juice- 4 spoons
•1 spoon Turmeric juice
•same amount of water
This healthy drink will not only flush out toxins but also boost immunity. Please make sure to avoid eating anything after consuming this juice for atleast 40-45 minutes.
Face mask for inner cleansing of pores. A perfect face mask fit for all skin types is that of Multaani mitti or sandalwood powder. Packed with many benefits this natural ingredient will show you it’s amazing benefits with only one use.
Add Sandalwood powder in water and make a thick paste and then apply it on face. Leave for 10-25 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.
The last but not the least we have a soothing moisturizing oil for you. This is the Kumkumadi Tailam. A renowned product in the ayurvedic world which has uncountable benefits including healing scars, hyperpigmentation, preventing acne and can also be used as a sunscreen.
The final and the most important step to follow for you is to use a non-toxic face wash at night and then apply a mixture of lemon juice, glycerine and rose water all three in equal parts and leave it on for overnight.
SKIN CARE HABITS
Also one needs to follow the basic skin-care habits to ensure proper skin health.
•Avoid touching your face .
•Try to live life stress-free.

•Don’t combine milk and salty food.
•Eat home made and non-spicy food.
