TV-turned-film actress Mouni Roy has come a long way in her career. She is among those few actors who have made a successful transition from TV to Bollywood. With time, Mouni has also transformed majorly in terms of looks and fashion. Recently, an old video of the actress from her initial days in the industry went viral. While some appreciated the way Mouni has worked on herself, there were some nasty trolls that criticised the actress. They accused Mouni of going under the knife.

In the clip which is doing rounds on social media, Mouni is heard talking about her sanskar and puja routine. She stated everyone in her family prays to all gods and do puja routinely. The actress also said that her mother had taught her to chant ‘Om Ganpataya namah’ twelve times before going to sleep.

Talking about the looks, Mouni appears simple in the video in an orange suit paired with blue dupatta. She seems to be unrecognizable in the clip. Soon after, many users pointed out a wide gap in Mouni’s front teeth alleging her of undergoing a surgery to enhance her beauty.

Reacting to the same, one user wrote, “This kinda video shows that we don’t have a single heroine who is naturally pretty/toned.” Another said, “Iske dant dekho yaar.” A third one penned, “Surgery queen.” “Surgery ka kamal hai,” read another comment. One netizen tagged Mouni as ‘Plastic’.

Workwise, Mouni Roy made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold in 2018. She received accolades for her performance in Ayan Mukherjee’s ‘Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva’. In the film, Mouni appeared as antagonist named Junoon.
