Ponniyin Selvan-1: Aishwarya Rai Touches Rajinikanth’s Feet, Hugs Guru Maniratnam At Trailer Launch Event!

Rajinikanth appeared at the music and the trailer launch for Mani Ratnam Ponniyin Selvan Part 1, which takes place on Tuesday in Chennai. He was the main guest of the event, which was attended by all the stars of the film, including Kamal Hassan and Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya is delighted to be reunited with her 2.0 co-star Rajnikanth after touching her feet for a long time.

Salwar Kurta and Aishwarya in black dupats ran from the front row to greet Ponniyin Selvan Director Mani Ratnam. She greeted him with a hug and he patted her on the back. Mani Ratnam launched Aishwarya in his debut film Iruvar in 1997. Then they work together in Ravana and Guru.

When meeting with Rajnikanth, Aishwarya touches his feet, Then Rajnikant lifts her up and hugs her. They greet each other with a long namaste and communicate briefly. Aishwarya and Rajnikanth worked together on the 2010 film Enthiran and the 2018 sequel 2.0.

Aishwarya calls Mani Ratnam “a Guru (mentor)” and says she has learned “passion, dedication, dedication and focus” from him. Thanking Rajnikanth and Kamal Hasan for the live event, Aishwarya said, “We are your students and followers and always will be.”

At the event, the trailer for Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 was released with fanfare . The film stars Aishwarya Rai in two roles as Queen Nandini, Princess Pazhuvoor and Mandakini Devi.Vikram plays Aditya Karikalan in the film, Karti plays Vantiyathevan, Trisha plays Kundavai, Ravi plays Arunmozhi Varman and Sobhita Dhulipala plays Vanathi.

Ponniyin Selvan-Part 1 is an adaptation of the 1950s Tamil novel of the same name by author Kalki Krishnamurthy. It will be released on September 30th in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
