Bollywood actress, director and producer Pooja Bhatt has reinstated her position in the industry after her stint on controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’. She is receiving the much-deserved attention on social media. Recently, Pooja shared a post for ‘Peta India’ and shared her views on freedom for animals. However, a user went off track in the comments section and brought the actress’ father and renowned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt into the discussion. He tried to defame the director. Being outspoken, Pooja did not keep mum on it. She came up with a sharp reply to the troller.

Pooja blasts the troll

The netizen began by recalling Mahesh’s much-publicised affair with Parveen Babi in the 1970s. He wrote that the filmmaker had told stories of naked Parveen Babi running after him in dark night. So, is the actress sure that her father never used your body to satisfy his ego. He further said that people can use someone’s innocent feelings to please their egos and mights. And then can move freely around calling themselves sons of God.”

Pooja hit back at the troll with a stern reply. She penned, “May God bless you and rescue you from the blind hate that you choose to spew. Wish you the best.”

Soon after, the verbal exchange between the Instagram user and the actress reached on discussion platform, Reddit. One user wrote, “The guy is literally insinuating that Mahesh “used her body” with his question, that’s just disgusting, because even if you’re working with the assumption he did do it, she’s literally the fucking victim.” Another said, “I feel the commentator crossed the line here. Pooja is the victim. And like almost all victims she is brainwashed. If someone deserves to be questioned, it is Mahesh”.

Pooja Bhatt reportedly had a controversial relationship with her father Mahesh Bhatt. In 90s, the duo featured on a magazine cover together. They were seen locking lips in the photo. Post this, Mahesh was also heard saying that he would have married Pooja if she was not his daughter. Since then, their equation is heavily criticised.

For the unversed, Mahesh Bhatt tied the knot with Lorraine Bright in 1970. She changed her name to Kiran Bhatt after marriage. The couple has two children- Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt. Later in 1986, Mahesh married Soni Razdan with whom he has two daughters- Shaheen Bhatt and Alia Bhatt.
