Poonam Dhillon took a journey down memory lane on Friday, sharing retro photos from the sets of her film Trishul (1978). Poonam shared the images on Instagram, with Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Sanjeev Kumar, Randhir Kapoor, and Gita Siddharth.

Sharing the pictures, Poonam captioned the post, “My first film was released on May 5th -when I was about 16 years old .. never thought it will be my career, which I will grow to love so dearly !! 44 years have passed -I have done films, TV, theatre, and now OTT- Thank you God for this wonderful journey & Thank you all for the love bestowed over the years. Thanks to my media friends too.”
Poonam is a pan-India actress and politician best known for her role in the 1979 film ‘Noorie.’

Poonam was also a contestant on Season 3 of ‘Bigg Boss,’ where she came in second place. She made her acting debut on Indian television in the series ‘Ekk Nayi Pehchaan,’ in which she played the illiterate but perfect wife of a wealthy businessman.
Poonam married producer Ashok Thakeria in 1988, and they have two children. The couple filed for divorce after 9 years of marriage, citing “loss of passion” as the primary reason. In 1997, they were granted a divorce.
Poonam and Ashok have two children: Paloma Thakeria, a daughter, and Anmol Thakeria, a son.
