Sambhavna Seth and Poonam Pandey took part in Khatron Ke Khiladi together. It was revealed on Friday that Poonam had died.

Cervical cancer claimed Poonam Pandey’s life on Thursday night, according to a post on her official Instagram account. Her age was thirty-two. In response to Poonam’s untimely death, her close friend and reality TV personality Sambhavna Seth remarked in a recent interview with News18 that she “never mentioned that she was going through any problems.”

“Life is just so unpredictable.”

Speaking to News 18, Sambhavna revealed that she met Poonam last year. They would keep meeting, sometimes socially or at an event. But Poonam never mentioned to Sambhavna that she was going through any problems. “It’s unbelievable; I still can’t digest it. Poonam was so young, hardly 30-32 years old. Life is just so unpredictable. I’m not in Mumbai, but how I wish I was there to pay my respects. I would have reached there immediately.” Sambhavna continued.

“Happy-go-lucky’ person”

Sambhavna further added how she remembers Poonam as a ‘positive’ and ‘happy-go-lucky’ person. Poonam did things for media attention but never liked them. She also reveals that Poonam had a dog too. She never told Sambhavna about the cancer. “She did not say anything about this. Just think how strong she was—she never even mentioned it. I pray to God that wherever she is, she is happy and fine now. The suffering that comes with cancer is extremely tough. We all know that there are medical measures to deal with cancer as well, but she must have been in a very difficult stage,” said Sambhavna.
