Amid reports of a recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid at her and husband Raj Kundra’s residence, actress Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram to reflect on the impermanence of life, subtly addressing the ongoing controversy. While she did not directly reference the raid or investigation, her words appeared to offer a glimpse into her mindset during this challenging time.
On Monday, Shilpa shared a video on Instagram in which she demonstrated a yoga technique called the Spinal Wave Flow. In the caption, she explained how the technique helps alleviate stress by releasing blockages in the spine and promoting overall well-being. “The Spinal Wave Flow is a technique designed to release blockages in the spine and trigger a spinal wave. The goal of this movement is to create relief in the nervous system and encourage the body to release stressors,” she wrote. She further added, “It also serves as a reminder that, like waves, nothing in life is permanent,” echoing the sentiment that life’s difficulties, much like waves, ebb and flow.
Shilpa’s Instagram post also included a message about starting the week on a positive note, highlighting the importance of daily self-care, from eating healthy to expressing gratitude. “Starting the week right! Hope you are too,” she wrote alongside the motivational post.
While Shilpa did not comment directly on the ongoing investigation, her fans rallied behind her, offering support during the turbulent time. One fan commented, “I support you, that’s enough,” while another wrote, “This clip is dedicated to ED officer,” reflecting the sentiment of solidarity.
The ED Raid and Reactions
On Friday, reports emerged that the ED had raided several locations in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh, including the home and office of Raj Kundra, in connection with a money laundering investigation related to the alleged distribution of adult films. Raj was reportedly questioned by the authorities during these raids.
In response, Shilpa’s lawyer issued a statement refuting claims that she was involved in any wrongdoing. “These reports are not true and are misleading. There has been no Enforcement Directorate raid on Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, as she has nothing to do with any offence. The investigation pertains to Mr. Raj Kundra, who is cooperating with the authorities,” the statement clarified.
Raj Kundra also took to Instagram to clarify his stance. He urged the media not to drag his wife’s name into unrelated matters, emphasizing that he is fully cooperating with the investigation. “No amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth. In the end, justice will prevail,” he wrote in his post.
