Prabhas’ Kannappa First Look Leaked, Makers Offer Rs 5 Lakh To Catch Perpetrator

Prabhas, the star of several high-profile upcoming films, is set to make a cameo in the fantasy film Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. While details about his role have been kept under wraps, his look from the film was recently leaked on X (formerly Twitter), causing a stir among fans. In response, the film’s production house, 24 Frames Factory, has issued a statement urging fans not to share the image and has promised a reward for information that helps identify the source of the leak.

The production house released an “urgent and heartfelt appeal” to its audience after the unauthorized picture of Prabhas from the sets began circulating online. The statement expressed the team’s disappointment, noting, “For the past eight years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Kannappa. After two years of intense production, our team is dedicated to bringing you a film of unmatched quality and passion. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorisation.”

The statement further highlighted the impact of the leak, emphasising that it undermines the hard work of thousands of individuals, including over 2,000 VFX artists. “We are committed to uncovering how this leak happened, and evaluating options to file a police complaint to hold those responsible for this leak,” the production house stated. They also warned fans, saying, “We urge you not to share this leaked image/footage as doing so will make individuals liable for legal action.”

In an attempt to identify the person behind the leak, 24 Frames Factory is offering a reward of ₹5 lakh to anyone who helps trace the origin of the stolen image.

Kannappa is a highly anticipated fantasy film based on the legendary tale of Kannappa, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. In addition to Prabhas, the film stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, with Akshay Kumar making his Telugu debut as Lord Shiva. The cast also includes Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, and several other prominent actors in supporting roles. Notably, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal are set to make cameos. The film’s teaser was unveiled at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, further raising anticipation for its release.

As the team works to address the leak, the film’s makers are urging fans to respect the creative process and avoid sharing unauthorized material.
