The ace choreographer, actor, and director Prabhu Deva recently welcomed a daughter with his wife Himani Singh. This 50-year-old talented filmmaker is now a father for the fourth time. Prabhu Deva confirmed the news and said, “Yes, it is true! I am a father again at this age. I feel very happy and very complete.”

The overjoyed actor also shared that his immediate family is delighted with the news. It is the family’s first female child, and his brothers are excited about the same.

About his family

Prabhu Deva has 3 sons with his ex-wife Ramlath. However, unfortunately in 2008, he lost his eldest son Vishal to cancer. It was rumored that Prabhu Deva and the south superstar Nayantara were in a live-in relationship for a brief period. In 2010, Prabhu Deva’s then-wife Ramlath filed a petition at the family court seeking a reunion with him. Prabhu Deva and Ramlath were divorced in 2011. 9 years later in 2020, Prabhu Deva secretly tied the knot for the second time with a physiotherapist Dr. Himani Singh. Apparently, the couple met and love blossomed when Prabhu Deva used to visit her for his physiotherapy sessions. This multi-talented artist managed to keep the news of his wedding under wraps as it happened during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, later in an interview, his brother also a choreographer, Raju Sundaram shared the news with his fans.

Prabhu Deva was last seen in the psychological thriller, Bagheera directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Post the birth of his daughter, Prabhu Deva made some shocking announcements. He said that he wishes to spend more time with his family. He no longer wants to do the running around. “I have already cut down, my workload. I felt I was doing too much work” he said. Prabhu Deva spans 3 decades and he has predominantly worked in the Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries. His upcoming project is the Tamil movie ‘Flashback’ starring Regina Cassandra opposite him.
