Athiya Shetty and cricketer Kl Rahul married on January 23, 2023, at her father Suniel Shetty’s Khandala house in the company of close relatives and friends. For her pre-wedding celebrations, she wore a lovely saree and looked stunning in the six yards of elegance.
Outfit DetailsĀ
Athiya dressed totally traditionally for the muhurtham event, wearing a silk saree. Her handmade tissue Kanchipuram silk saree is from the Madhurya collection.
Her saree is a stunning gold colour with gold patti borders and a fuchsia pink blocked pallu with elaborate gold embroidery. She draped the six yards in a customary manner, allowing the pallu to fall gently from her shoulder.
Athiya finished off her traditional ensemble with a similar pink sleeveless silk blouse with a wide U neckline and a dori tie and cut-out on the back.
Accessorized The Look:
The actress accessorised her ensemble wonderfully with a stack of bangles, a pair of statement jhumkis, and a south Indian chokar and ghuttapusal necklace by jewellery designer Falguni Mehta, which included uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls. She chose magnificent jewellery to complement her ethnic beauty.
Glam Picks
Athiya arranged her locks in a neat centre-parted bun adorned with lovely flowers with the help of hair stylist Reena Dutta and make-up artist Simran Gidwani, and for the glam selections, she went with a berry pink lip colour, black eyeliner, reddened cheeks, luminous complexion, and darkened eyebrows. Her ethnic outfit was finished with a little black bindi, which added grace and elegance. Ami Patel styled the actress.
Athiya Shetty wore a lovely embroidered blush pink lehenga from designer Ritu Kumar’s collection for the wedding. She donned a breathtaking ivory antique anarkali outfit by Ritu Kumar for her haldi appearance.
