Preity Zinta Lashes Out On Paparazzi For ‘Invading Privacy’: ‘You’re All Scaring Me…’

Fans recently spotted in Mumbai Preity Zinta blasted the paparazzi for encircling her from all sides and catching her off guard.

After a long hiatus from the big screen, Veer-Zaara actor Preity Zinta is currently filming Lahore 1947, an upcoming film. Preity was recently spotted in Mumbai.

She was seen entering a venue while talking on the phone, and she looked uneasy with the crowd of photographers surrounding her. Preity appeared taken aback by the throng of photographers, despite her casual attire of blue denim jeans and a long-printed sleeveless t-shirt.

‘..Sacring me.’

Initially startled, she stopped talking on her phone and told the paps, “Guys, you all are scaring me, please.” She did, however, wave and smile at them prior to entering the venue. Meanwhile, the incident led to internet users criticising the paparazzi for violating her privacy.

This is not the first case where a celebrity lashes out at paparazzi for hounding on them. Varun Dhawan lost it when Paparazzi Follows Him Into the Clinic. Similarly, in a video that went viral online, he can be seen talking on the phone. When the paparazzi tried to follow him inside, he said, “Oye, leave it, man,” and came towards the cameraman to stop him filming.

Fans in her support

“It’s true. Give the woman space to walk and for her to hear who she’s talking to on the phone. The paps are borderline rude. It’s unacceptable!” commented a fan on Instagram. Another user wrote, “Rubbish you guys for invading people’s privacy. Stop your nonsense; it’s not funny.” A netizen made a humorous comment and wrote, “Thapad se darr nae lgta sahib, paparazzi se lgta hai (I am not afraid of getting slapped, sir, I am afraid of paparazzi) (laughing emoticon).”

In addition to Sunny Deol and his son Karan Deol, Lahore 1947 is a film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The fact that the movie is scheduled for release on Republic Day in 2025 heightens the excitement surrounding Zinta’s big-screen comeback. With the release date set, fans eagerly await the period drama, which promises to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and star-studded cast.
